First performed by Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus as the prelude to "Shaken, Not Heard: Stories of GayMen, Faith and Reconciliation". A dramatic concert piece that maintains its medieval feel. Optional tambourine part may be improvised.

The story (sung in Latin): A young girl whose feet were growing backward is brought by her father to the great Port of the Queen of Heaven so she might be healed. In the middle of the night, the girl awakes in great pain and tells her father that the Virgin came and broke her feet so they might grow straight.
